Service Description
Social-emotional learning is an integral part of education and human development, but resources to address these developmental skills are rarely adequate in schools. The IABTC Student Group Component is a perfect complement to any student programming by teaching skills needed to manage emotions, practice critical thinking, build resilience, build character, and effectively communicate.
The program gives students a pathway to unlocking their power and unleashing their gifts, and addresses the Five Core Social-Emotional Competencies.
Program Implementation: Homeroom, Advisory, “Do Now”, ELA, Elective, BSAP, Restorative Justice, Lunch-Lesson or Program Supplementation.
